The Void XXL Mirror is a 180cm by 105cm mirror with partially silvered glass that blends into the wall, designed by Studio Segers, made in Belgium by Deknudt Mirrors.
Void XXL Mirror is designed by Studio Segers and explores the quiet power of simplicity. This design mirror is composed of nothing more than pure glass and precisely defined, partially silvered surfaces, square or rectangular forms that seem to emerge from within the glass itself. The asymmetrical composition of the mirror is all about reflection and transparency, about seeing and being seen.
The silvered mirrored part is abruptly cut off on two sides. The transparent glass blends seamlessly into the wall on the other 2 sides. The mirror subtly flows into the background through the transparent glass. Mirror and wall are brought together. As daylight moves across the room, it filters through the transparent areas or reflects off the silvered ones, casting soft, architectural shadows behind the surface. The result is an image that appears to float, an understated composition of light, line and reflection.
Void XXL is a study in balance and restraint. With its minimal form and refined execution, it brings a calm, thoughtful presence to any space. The mirror can be hung in 4 directions and is also available in other sizes.

Installation is simple if you are a little handy, the Void XXL Mirror weighs 19kg, comes with fixings for a masonry wall (brick or concrete) and includes clear hanging instructions. It can also be hung on plasterboard (Gyprock), in which case you will need plasterboard anchors rated for the mirror's weight, available from any local hardware store. If you would rather not do it yourself, we offer a professional installation service in Sydney metro for $99 per mirror, added with one tick in your cart, and for orders outside Sydney we can recommend trusted local installers on request.
