    The Glass Makes The Difference

What sets these mirrors apart is direct access to high-grade European glass, drawn from Deknudt's own facility in Deerlijk, Belgium, home to one of the last silvering lines of its kind in Europe, where an ultra-fine silver layer is applied with every parameter monitored.

The result is glass that is 100% copper-free and lead-free, hand-finished by around 110 craftspeople with 1,674 combined years of experience, and backed by a seven-year manufacturer's warranty.

    Esther Everaert

Esther is the creative drive behind Deknudt Mirrors. She combines design, strategy and technology and aims for a connection on a deeper lever with our customers thanks to well-thought-out, timeless and unseen mirrors.

Esther draws on her passion for craftsmanship, materials and a detailed eye for aesthetics to create mirrors that tell a story and that can be treasured for many years to come. She does this without losing sight of the functionality of her designs, where efficiency in production and assembly are equally important as the aesthetic appeal of a mirror. Laurène Guarneri

Laurène is a French artisan and designer based in Paris, France. She has always been fascinated by the reflection of light on mirrors and finds her inspiration in poetic moments of everyday life. After obtaining her master's degree at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris-Cergy, she decided to open a studio where she designs and produces unique handmade mirrors.

Laurène advocates a return to the sensitive and aims to create mirrors that fit into everyday life by bringing simplicity and poetry with them. The design draws its inspiration from a simple and refined aesthetic, stimulated by fleeting moments of life, such as the light of the sun, the colours of the sky, the moments of rain... Her gaze is turned towards the fleeting beauty of the present and tends towards contemplation.
