REEL is a beautiful creation by renowned Belgian designer Jeffrey Huyghe in collaboration with Deknudt Mirrors. The name was inspired by a film reel.
This round mirror features a carefully crafted black metal frame, finished with a fine-structured powder coating. The frame’s circular perforations ingeniously reflect in the central mirror, creating the illusion of seeing right through the mirror. The centres of these circular openings are perfectly aligned with the reflecting surface, creating a graphic illusion that makes the holes mysteriously appear both behind and in front of the mirror.
These cutouts create an astonishing effect, giving the 1-meter diameter mirror a sense of lightness, as it floats in the middle of its frame. Reel’s unique and surprising character will enhance any environment, perfectly completing the look of your interior.
