The Passepartout Square Mirror is a 105cm square mirror with a clear glass border inside an oak frame, designed by Studio Segers, made in Belgium by Deknudt Mirrors.
The inspiration for Passepartout Square comes from museum visits and the way artworks are presented there. This design mirror has a transparent transition between the mirrored part and the wooden frame and turns the reflection itself into the artwork. That is exactly what Studio Segers is so good at: creating designs that blend into their surroundings and enhance the interior.
The symmetrical oak frame echoes the balance and proportion of traditional picture frames. The silvered surface is precisely placed, allowing light to pass through the clear glass and giving the impression that the mirror is gently floating. The transparent separation between the mirror and the frame becomes a neutral zone around the mirror. The viewer gets less distracted and his attention is focused entirely on the mirror and its reflection.
The classic, symmetrical composition of the mirror creates a familiar image. Refined and architectural, Passepartout brings clarity, structure and a subtle tension to any interior. The mirror can be hung in 2 directions and is also available in other sizes.

It can also be hung on plasterboard (Gyprock), in which case you will need plasterboard anchors rated for the mirror's weight, available from any local hardware store. If you would rather not do it yourself, we offer a professional installation service in Sydney metro for $99 per mirror, added with one tick in your cart, and for orders outside Sydney we can recommend trusted local installers on request.

Wipe with a soft, dry or lightly damp microfibre cloth. Do not use ammonia-based glass cleaners or abrasive products, and avoid spraying liquid onto the edges or any printed, leafed or fabric surfaces.
