NOREN is the wonderful result of a new collaboration between Deknudt Mirrors and Belgian designer Inge Rylant. Living and working between Belgium and Japan, Inge is inspired by traditional Japanese elements, which are perfectly reflected in this mirror.
Noren takes its name from traditional Japanese fabric dividers, typically hung between rooms, doorways or windows. These dividers often feature vertical slits, facilitating easy passage and viewing. Embracing this concept, Noren is ingeniously designed in two parts, with a slit that adds a distinctive visual appeal and a certain playfulness.
The perfect circle in this intriguing composition echoes the iconic circular windows found in Japanese architecture, designed to frame nature in a harmonious way. The sober, minimalistic design and the dark green colour scheme make Noren an inspiring addition to any modern living space.
Manufactured from the highest quality raw materials, this mirror is non-corrosive and oxidation resistant.
